FRIDAY, MAY 25

• The fifth annual Walleye Jamboree will be held on South and Big Manistique Lakes in Curtis. Prizes are given for the largest walleyes caught over the three-day weekend.  The grand prize is a boat package. The $50 adult entry fee per person includes steak dinner at Interlaken Lodge.  The entry fee for the kids division is $10 for ages 12 and younger. • Free fishing weekend.

• Tahquamenon Falls State is celebrating Project GO-Get Outdoors with a special Hike Between Da Fall. Participants can take a shuttle from the Lower Falls to the Upper Falls, for a four-mile hike back down between 10:00 a.m. and noon. Activities, nature crafts, a fisheries demonstration and more will be offered. All vehicles entering must display a permit, available for purchase at the park entrance.
